Ryan Samadi, Co-Chief Investment Officer
Ryan Samadi is a CS student at Stanford on the AI track. Previously, he was an analyst at Citadel’s Global Equities hedge fund, and prior to that he was a fixed income trading analyst at BAML, and a Private Equity Analyst at IIFG in LA. He enjoys value investing across TMT and Healthcare, as well as applying alternative data in the hedge fund space.

Akshath Mahajan, Prof. Dev
Akshath Mahajan is a junior at Stanford studying Computer Science and Philosophy. In the past he’s done TMT Investment banking at Woodside Capital Partners and has also worked at The Washington Post and at Capital One Financial. This summer, he’ll be an Investment banking summer analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. His interests in finance lie in media and energy companies and L/S strategy. In addition to finance, Akshath enjoys playing golf, working out, and going to music festivals.

Andrew Kelmanson, Prof. Dev
Andrew Kelmanson is currently a sophomore studying History and Engineering. This summer, he worked in Strategy Consulting for Deloitte in the Middle East, and the previous summer studied Russian language & Geopolitics with the US Government in Almaty, Kazakhstan on the Chinese-Kazakh border. His interest in finance lies in TMT M&A and short-investing. He enjoys learning languages, salsa dancing, and music festivals.

Ohm Patel, Prof. Dev
Ohm studies Computer Science and MS&E at Stanford. He’s previously worked at Pitney Bowes as an AI Intern and at a fintech startup. He’s interested in TMT, Energy, and Consumer companies. Although still improving at the game of golf, he is an enthusiastic trash talker on the links and is the second best golfer in Kudla.

Abhi Desai, Prof. Dev
Abhi Desai studies CS and History at Stanford, and previously worked at Matrix Capital Management and Islander Capital Partners. Within finance his interests include TMT and alternative data use within the hedge fund industry, as well as venture capital.

Julia Brand
Julia is a junior studying Management Science & Economics. She previously worked as a Private Equity Intern at Hudson Hill Capital in New York and as a Venture Capital Intern at Cardumen Capital in Tel Aviv. During the summer of 2024, Julia plans to work as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Centerview Partners in New York. Julia is particularly fascinated by the consumer and technology verticals. In addition to finance, she enjoys learning about the Israeli tech ecosystem, skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

Amelie Buc
Amelie is a senior at Stanford majoring in Computer Science on the Artificial Intelligence track and minoring in Art History. She will next year be coterming in MS&E. Over past summers, she worked in capital markets at Bank of America and in early-stage investing at two European venture capital firms. She will next join Goldman Sachs’ Quantitative Investment Strategies group.

Chelsea Cho
Chelsea Cho is a junior studying Symbolic Systems. She previously worked at Canyon Partners in hedgefund credit and real estate, and at Advaita Capital sourcing sustainable global investments. This summer, she will be a private equity analyst at Blackstone in their Strategic Partners group. Chelsea enjoys ballet, amateur boxing, and music festivals.

Carson Levit
Carson is from San Francisco studying Sociology and minoring in Economics. He is passionate about understanding markets and the cognitive biases that can lead to their inefficiencies. The past couple of summers he interned at Steadfast Financial and Maverick Capital, where he rotated between different industries, including industrials, luxury goods, and technology. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, surfing, and golf. Carson is also an avid poker player.

Albert Liang
Albert Liang is a junior studying Mathematical and Computational Science. During his freshman and sophomore years, he worked as a private equity summer analyst at The Jordan Company and in investment banking at Bank of America in New York. For junior summer, he will be working as a private equity summer analyst at Blackstone in New York. In his free time, he loves to play chess, tennis, and poker in addition to supporting all Atlanta sports, Arsenal, and Real Madrid.

Harnoor is a junior studying Economics and Management Science & Engineering. He previously worked at Atar Capital and Rootstock. Within finance he is interested in TMT and consumer discretionary. In his free time he enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and driving mountain roads.
